PROXY Pro v11 works on all Microsoft Windows operating systems in support (or extended support) at the time of release (2025).  It will not install or operate on earlier operating systems.

The Screen Blanking feature introduced in v10.4 requires the Host to be run on Windows 10 v2004 or later.  Note that there are certain “topmost” items that the console system can create which may appear at the console, on top of the blanking message stating that the machine is in use.  This includes (but is not limited to) the Windows Start menu, right-click context menus, the Alt+Tab application list, and in some cases the system taskbar.

PROXY Pro v10.0 through v10.3 are only supported on Microsoft Windows operating systems currently in support (or extended support).  However, the PROXY Pro v10.0 release originally supported operating systems in support at the time of its release (October 2017), and later releases through v10.3 are expected to work on those operating systems (although this is not officially supported).  This specifically includes Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2.

The PROXY Pro Server (Identity Manager, Web Console, and Gateway Server) require Windows Server 2016, Server 2019, Server 2022, or Server 2025.

PROXY Pro for Macintosh now requires Macintosh OS X v10.9 (Mavericks) or later. Earlier versions of OS X do not support TLS v1.2 and therefore cannot communicate with PROXY Pro v10.0 or later.
